¿Qué tipo de oficina es mejor para una Pyme?

06/30/2021

What type of office is best for an SME?

One would believe that the bigger the office you rent for your company, the better. But that has changed, even more so in these times. It is not recommended to have other space, as it involves greater maintenance efforts, unnecessary costs that can be designated for other investments, facilities and implementations, etc.

Companies in most of the sectors that support our economy, especially SMEs, have been hit economically, so we seek to save as much as possible and reduce costs. In addition, with remote work deployment, the space required is trimmed.

Therefore, you have to take into account this, and the different types of offices that are in the market, to choose the best one for your SME.

Virtual offices

A virtual office is one that is hired for a company to answer the phone and receive the messaging, but it is not a physical space for the entrepreneur to perform his tasks. The work isn't really done in this space, it just serves to have a corporate presence. This way, it doesn't require a large investment.

Physical offices

When a company is consolidated, it is time to define a physical space to install; having it gives confidence to the customer.

It is recommended, in these cases, to opt for an office in which a space can be designated as a territorial reserve, while the number of collaborators grows.

Business Center

A business center is the rental of temporary offices or collaboration spaces that are acquired for short periods.

This type of office is recommended for organizations that are just starting out or looking to grow, but that do not yet have the resources to acquire their own place.

An advantage of this type of offices,is that you do not have to worry about setting and decorating the place.

coworking

There are also coworking, which are work areas with open spaces, where there are no designated places, and are furnished with armchairs or long, collaborative tables.

The modality also offers the possibility of hiring boardrooms or offices for one or two people, ideal when privacy is required. The difference is that in coworking the surface is shared between professionals who develop different activities, while in the business center they carry out the same activity.

The recommendation of specialists is to dedicate a maximum of 40% of a company's income to the rental of offices or workspaces.
